There is a free Ebook you can request called “What I Didn’t Learn At School But Wish I Did” by Jamie McIntyre. He looks at trading options and making money with property investing and online business. It’s a simple read and contains some great advice too.

Equity trades are the purchase of actual shares of stock. Options trades are the purchase of the right to own shares of a stock whenever it hits a specific price. Whenever the stock hits the price, it is called OTM or on the money. When it hits OTM, you can exercise the rights to purchase and then profit from the gain without having to own the shares. The downside of options trading is that you can lose all of your investment when it does not hit OTM or if your options expire.
