Yea, this can happen in any stock, its just the inevitable, but the stocks that have the highest chance of this happening to are pharma and biotechnology stocks, how do you protect yourself from this? dont go “all in” in a stock, make sure you nibble and take money out of the table as your making money on a stock. and apply some hedging techniques to your trading (i do it all the time).good trading.
