The forex is not a get rich quick market. Many people get in trouble because they over leverage. As long as you keep your leverage low and stick with a method that has consistent gains you could do just fine.
The deal is how well do u understand the market. this line of business requires a lot of skill and patience so nothing better than professionals doing them for you.
