big dow ($25) price movement?

I was wondering how come CBOT big dow future price price for any month is taking forever to change price from one to another tick where cash Dow jones moved (up & down) every second… for example, I have been watching dow jones it changes (up & down) every minute but the dow jones ($25) future price is set @ 12794 for hours.is there any reason?

Because for the most part, it doesn’t trade. Only 35 contracts traded today, vs. 65,000 for the dow mini. If you are trading the dow, you should be in the mini contracts. Liquidity makes up for the extra commissions.
